Built on long days and high standards
Asgard's Gardens Landscaping was started by two guys who genuinely enjoy working outdoors and take pride in doing things the right way.
Richard and Kaitiaki worked together for years at Fourways Grading and Garden Magic Landscaping (now owned by Park Landscaping). They spent a lot of long days side by side, learning every part of landscaping hands-on — from grading and sod to hardscapes and water features. Over time, they realized they weren't just learning how to landscape; they were learning how jobs should be done… and how often they aren't.
Like a lot of people in this trade, they were working hard, breaking their backs, and helping build other companies while putting their own ideas and standards on hold. Eventually, they decided it made more sense to put that effort into something they could stand behind and be proud of.
So they started Asgard's Gardens Landscaping.
Richard Winter
Owner & Foreman
Richard Winter is the owner and foreman of Asgard's Gardens Landscaping, bringing decades of outdoor and landscaping experience to the work — from wildfire fighting to six weeks of training through Aquascape University in Dallas, Texas.
Kaitiaki Hamon
Landscaper
Kaitiaki brings eight years of hands-on landscaping experience to Asgard's Gardens, most of it working side by side with Richard. He's a sod specialist by trade — fast, precise, and known for laying clean, tight sod at a pace most crews can't match.
